The BAUST-Project assembles 5 different opinions, perspectives and staging-concepts in itself and presents the over-exaggerated concepts of viewpoints in its result, which will be the performance. 5 directors and their ensemble put on a play together: “Faust” by Goethe, including an enormous degree of popularity and an overall ability of quotation.

Divided into 5 parts, every director adapts his own, and by compiling all parts a complete play can be seen on a single evening. The frictions, the vanished and obvious compromises as well as the striking similarities among the different concepts underline the variety of possible interpretations of Goethe’s work and take it to a higher level of understanding. Therefore the performance needs the perceptional process to create the composition of BAUST. Usually, you’d have to attend at least 2 different performances at different locations on different days to gain this effect. BAUST enables you to have this experience on a single evening.
